Walt Disney Pictures is bring back to the big screen one of its movies who has such a huge cult following. This holiday season, you can now watch Tron Legacy online. The upcoming movie is a sequel to the 1982 sci-fi flick Tron, which has been lauded for extensive use of ahead-of-its-time imagery and special effects. The Light Cycle was first seen on the movie and has remained to one of the most iconic vehicles in cinema history.
Watch Tron Legacy online as the Light Cycle will ride again in the Game Grid. Walt Disney has released three new banners featuring the latest incarnations of the vehicle. The poster features two different colored Light Cycles. The first one is colored white with while the other is lined with yellow. The colors depend on the program’s belief or function’s, and on rare occasion’s their emotions. The white ones are neutral programs that serve other programs. The yellows are considered hackers and are the “Fights for Independence” programs. The white Light Cycle is driven by Sam Flynn, who was transported to the virtual world in search of his father, Kevin, who has been missing for than a decade in the real world. The third banner shows the two Light Cycles trying to bump each other as sparks are coming out.
The Light Cycles you will see when you watch Tron Legacy online are designed by Daniel Simon. Simon is German concept designer and automotive futurist and is responsible for creating the fifth generation Light Cycle which looks a lot sleeker and cooler when you watch Tron Legacy online. But latest edition still has a lot of features from the original Tron film.
The film stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Michael Sheen, and Bruce Boxleitner. It is directed by Joseph Kosinski. It is set to hit theaters this December 17 but you can also watch Tron Legacy online.
