Diehard fans are sure to line up in theaters or watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows online. It is the seventh and final installment of the series which is based on the books written by British author J.K. Rowling. The 759-page novel has been split into two movies by Warner Bros.; Part I will be shown later this fall while the second will be released next year.
And now, a brand new character poster has surfaced. The banner features the house elf, Dobby. You can now see him when you watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows online. He was last seen on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The Malfoys have previously owned him, but they treated him without an ounce of respect and kindness. House elves are magical creatures who can use their powers with or without the permission of their masters and they can even use them against them, though such insubordination obliges them to punish themselves. They can use their powers such as Apparition and some domestic spells without using any wand. They are expected to follow everything what their masters tell them to do unless they are freed. They are only given freedom if their master gave an article of clothing owned by their master. In the Chamber of Secrets, Dobby tried several times from preventing Harry Potter to return to Hogwarts. He magically sealed off Platform Nine and Three Quarters and enchanted a Bludger to chase after Harry during a Quidditch match. He also knew about Lucius Malfoy’s plan to open the Chamber of Secrets with the use of the diary of Tom Riddle. He was later freed when Lucius unknowingly gave him a sock hidden inside the diary.
The valiant house elf is now back when you Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows online. Dobby is voiced by English actor Toby Jones. The Olivier award-winning actor was also seen on Infamous and Frost/Nixon. He is also slated to appear on Captain America: The First Avenger. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows online will hit theaters on November 19, 2010.
