Evil witches are some of the most vicious villains in cinematic history. Who could forget the Wicked Witch of the West who tried to attack poor little Dorothy who just want to go home? And those Disney Villains who are trying to kill those helpless princesses who just want find their own charming princes. Then, there’s the ever been seen Blair Witch. Even if we did catch who she is, she felt her presence by killing those young kids in the forest. But when you watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, you will tremble with the sight of the ruthless Bellatrix Lestrange. Even some of the Death Eaters are afraid of her.
Bellatrix is considered as the most loyal amongst Lord Voldemort’s followers. She shows no mercy towards her enemies, and she would even kill her family members just to prove her loyalty to the Dark Lord. She is the second most powerful witch in the Death Eaters and an expert at the Dark Arts, behind only Voldemort himself. The evil witch is a skilled duelist, even deflected one of the spells by Professor Dumbledore, and when you watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, she will be seen standing off against gifted witches like Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood, and Molly Weasley all at once, though obviously outnumbered, she still tried to stand her ground. She also trained her nephew, Draco Malfoy, in Occlumency to prepare him for his mission to kill Dumbledore.
In the Harry Potter series, Bellatrix is played by the talented English actress Helena Bonham Carter. She was nominated at the Oscar for Best Actress for the 1997 drama The Wings of the Dove. She was also seen in Tim Burton’s movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and Alice in Wonderland.
When you watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Bellatrix will show her wicked fighting skills on the Skirmish at the Malfoy Manor and the Battle of Hogwarts.
