Derezzed Video: Tron: Legacy OST

There is no doubt that a lot of people are going to watch Tron: Legacy online. For one, it is a sequel of the 1982 cult classic Tron, a film made beyond its time. Second, Kevin Flynn will once again be played by Jeff Bridges, who just picked earlier this year his first and long-awaited Oscar trophy for his role in Crazy Heart. Second, it marks the return of the iconic Light Cycle, which has now become a lot sleeker and way flashier than the original vehicle. The landscapes are now more visually-stunning and the special effects grander given a reported estimated production cost of $200 million. Plus, the Daft Punk has been chosen by Walt Disney Pictures and director Joseph Kosinski and was given total creative control to score the highly-anticipated neon light-fest film. The Grammy-winning French music duo was responsible for dance club hits like Around the World, One More Time, and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

Now, Disney has released the first and official full video of Derezzed, a track which you can hear while you watch Tron: Legacy online. Derezzed is a term coined when the player of a game in the virtual universe loses, or, in short, digital death. The video pays homage to the first film with its retro look and old school CGI effects. The fanboys would surely love to see the Light Cycles racing through The Grid. There were no clips featured from any of the scenes from the upcoming sci-fi flick but the first showed a re-imagining of the Flynn’s Arcade scene. Except for Sam Flynn, the Daft Punk was seen being transported to the digital world. And on the last part of the clip, just when DP fans would finally get to see the identities of the duo, when the rider takes off the helmet a digitized Olivia Wilde was revealed. House star Wilde plays the warrior Quorra in the movie.

You listen to the hypnotic beats of the Daft Punk when you watch Tron Legacy online. The film also stars Bruce Boxleitner, Garrett Hedlund, Michael Sheen, and Beau Garrett. The film will be released in both 2D and 3 D on December 17, 2010.

Fanboys are surely going to watch Green Lantern movie online, an upcoming superhero flick based on one of the hugely-successful DC Comics characters. The film stars Ryan Reynolds who has been chosen by Warner Bros. over actors like Jared Leto, Bradley Cooper, Sam Worthington, Chris Pine, and Justin Timberlake. People magazine’s 2010 Sexiest man Alive Reynolds is not a newbie to don a superhero costume as he has appeared as Hannibal King in Blade: Trinity, and in X: Men Origins: Wolverine as Deadpool, which has also been picked up to have a spin-off movie.

Diehard fans of the comic book character are very excited to watch Green Lantern movie online. It will follow the story of Hal Jordan and on his quest on becoming the greatest Green Lantern of all time. Even though the Green Lantern Corps had sworn to uphold peace and unity in the universe, they have little respect towards the human beings. They felt that the humans do not know how to harness the power that the power ring gives them. But when the balance of the universe has been threatened by the Pallafax, a powerful creature who has the ability to repel against their green energy powers because of it being colored yellow, their only hope lies on the human Hal Jordan.

Hal is a cocky yet gifted pilot of the United States Air Force. He was then chosen because of his strong willpower and determination thus, becoming the first human to be inducted into the Green Lantern Corps. With the encouragement of his childhood sweetheart, Carol Ferris, he must learn how to control his powers and conquer his fears in order to save the world from the Pallafax.

New "Throwback" Tron: Legacy Poster

There is no doubt that the fanboys are at the edge of there seats as they try to wait to watch Tron Legacy online. The upcoming sci-fi flick is a sequel to the 1982 film Tron which was not huge at the box-office when it was released but has gained a cult following as years went by. It was lauded for its extensive of computer graphics which was seen as ahead of its time. One of the most iconic vehicles of all time, the Light Cycle, was first appeared here. The film starred Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn/CLU, and Bruce Boxleitner as Alan Bradley/Tron. It was directed by Steven Lisberger.

Walt Disney Pictures has been heavily promoting their upcoming sci-fi flick for several months now. They have released several posters, video clips, and still shots and I am pretty sure that the die-hard fans are eagerly waiting to watch Tron Legacy online. And now, Disney has unveiled a brand new poster for the movie and it is pretty reminiscent of the original poster of the prequel. The latest poster is a high concept re-imagining of the 1982 poster which features two of the characters standing on a round platform trying to reach out to a circle inside a ray of light. The first poster featured the tagline “A world inside the computer where man has never been. Never before now.” with Bridges and Cindy Morgan. The brand new banner shows Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde with the ultra-modern landscape. Hedlund plays Sam Flynn, the 27-year old son of Kevin, while Wilde plays Quorra, a warrior program and a confidante of Kevin. Together, they must find a way to make it out of the virtual world.

If the original poster was cool, the latest promotional banner is way cooler than cool, which is why I am going to make that I will be able to watch Tron Legacy online.

Tron Legacy Vehicle Featurette

I can not wait to watch Tron Legacy online, the sequel to the 1982 neon lights fest sci-fi flick Tron. The original movie has been lauded for its amazing special effects and for being seen as ahead of its time. It was released when the world was just recently introduced to the cyberspace. It received a special Academy Award for Technical Achievement in 1997. It featured one of the most iconic vehicles ever to be seen on the big screen: the Light Cycle.

And when you watch Tron Legacy online, the people behind the sequel made sure not to alienate the fans by bringing back the Light Cycles. Disney has recently released a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette about the vehicles. The newest Light Cycle now is newly-improved and highly-detailed making it look a lot sleeker and totally way cooler than its predecessor. There is also another version of the Light Cycle, the two-seater Light Runner, which is said to be very fast and has the unique ability to go off the grid using its own power. There are also other unique and amazing vehicles including a low-racing Formula 1-like racing car, and the self-constructing-while-flying-in-mid-air jet. It is real treat seeing those spectacular machines set in the neon-lined landscapes. The modern vehicles were designed by Daniel Simon, German concept designer and automotive futurist. Some of the cast and crew, including the stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, and Olivia Wilde talked about the stunning auto designs. Director Joseph Kosinski also shared his thoughts. This is the directorial film of Kosinski who is best known for his computer generated imagery works.

Most of these ultra hi-tech vehicles could never be used in the real world which is why you have to make to watch Tron Legacy online. The film is also set to be released this December 17 in both 2D and 3D theaters.

Been sick of all these rampant invasion of all these vampires and werewolves roaming around the media space that has been sucking our senses for these past few years? AMC is now bringing the zombies to the spotlight following the successes of 28 Days Later, Shaun of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Zombieland and Land of the Dead. Watch Walking Dead online and it will make you forget the whole Twilight/Vampire Diaries/True Blood hoopla for six weeks.

But with even just six episodes on its first season, each week promises to bring a frighteningly delightful show. And following its success, AMC has greenlit a second season and has expanded the show to a full 13 episodes next year. The series is one of the short slings but award-winning shows by AMC which includes Mad Men, and Breaking Bad.

The post-apocalyptic horror TV series is based on the black-and-white comic book series created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. It was first published in 2003 by Image Comics and proved to be a huge success. It was a best-seller and has also won several awards including The Best Continuing Series at this year’s Eisner Awards. Eric Sunde of IGN commented, “This series is one of the best monthly comics available.” So, you should make it a point also to watch Walking Dead online.

The show tells the story of Country Sheriff Rick Grimes wakes up alone in an empty hospital. Later, along with a few remaining people are trying to survive following the aftermath of a zombie attack.  The gang is led by Rick and they are traveling all over the United States in search of a safe haven away from the clutches of those flesh-eating zombies. But looking for a new home is not that easy as their situation grows grimmer and grimmer. In every turn, they are faced by unspeakable horrors and they are even pushed to the brink of insanity. Walking Dead premiered on AMC on October 31, 2010 with 70-minute episode. It was shown using the network’s Fearfest which also included several horror films in that genre. It was well-received by both the audience and critics alike. The pilot episode was seen by 5.3 million viewers on TV, making it the most-watched premiere episode of any AMC television series, and many more probably preferred to watch Walking Dead online. The show was also rated with Universal Acclaim on Metacritic with a rating of 85 out of 100 based on 25 reviews. Heather Havrilesky of Salon.com included the show on the “Don’t miss these 9 new TV shows” list and gave it an A. She then quipped, “A film-quality drama series about zombies? Somebody pinch me.”
